Hello there!

I'M CHRISTINA HADLEYDIKE ROOSEVELT & I KNOW EXACTLY HOW IT FEELS TO STRUGGLE WITH LEARNING THE BEST TOOLS TO USE WHEN APPAREL PATTERNING IN ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR.

I am a Creator Artist. I received an MFA in Costume Technology from Indiana University. Before attending Graduate School, I worked extensively throughout this country in many different costume shops. I have always enjoyed patterning and draping and once I found computer apparel pattering I was hooked!!

I first started my journey of computer apparel drafting with the Optitex software in graduate school. However, after leaving I had to find a more sustainable way to digitally pattern draft. That is when I turned to Adobe Illustrator. It does not have all the fun features that some of the other digitally patterning programs have but it is very versatile. The patterns are also very easy to print on your home printer.
